The Cardinal Lysander Group also operates a significant venture capital business, taking equity positions and providing management support to newly formed companies. The objective of our involvement is to create value within these companies by giving them access to the financial resources, management experience and business relationships inherent within the Cardinal Lysander Group. The aim is eventually to realise that value for the benefit of both the Group and the company.

The Venture Capital business currently has an active interest in companies within the mining and oil and gas sectors, as well as several investments in companies in the IT and technology industries. A number of these companies have now been successfully launched on the UK Alternative Investment Market.
